Meet Bob Kirkley

Born in Baltimore, Bob received a BA in philosophy from St. Mary's College of Maryland and an MA in creative writing from Florida State University. Since then, he has served for twenty-eight years as a high school English teacher in South Florida. His poetry has appeared, or is forthcoming, in publications such as Anti-Heroin Chic, Better Than Starbucks, Does It Have Pockets?, Eunoia Review, ONE ART, and San Antonio Review. His other pursuits include coffee roasting and paddleboarding. His favorite coffee is Ethiopia dry process, which, although it is not flavored, tastes like blueberries. And he has paddled about 1,500 miles so far, mostly alone, finding solitude out in the territory.
